lukecutzhair.com is the booking site for Luke Dietz, a barber at C'z Barbershop in Mesa, Arizona. This page explains what information the site collects and how it is used.
Your name, phone number, optional email, optional note to Luke, the service and add-ons you pick, and the appointment time. If you leave a review, we save your name, star rating, review text and the service.
Only to schedule and manage your appointment: to hold your time slot, to put the appointment on Luke's calendar, to let Luke contact you about it, and to let you move or cancel it with your private link. Reviews are shown on the site only after Luke approves them. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Email is optional. If you give it, the appointment on Luke's Google Calendar lists you as a guest, so Google sends you a calendar invite from Luke's calendar, plus an update if the appointment is moved and a notice if it is cancelled. The invite shows the appointment details, the shop address and your private link to move or cancel. Your email is not used for anything else, and we never send marketing emails. If you leave the email blank, no invite is sent.
When you book, cancel or move an appointment, Luke gets a notification on his own phone or computer with your first name and last initial, the service and the time. These notifications go only to devices Luke (or the site administrator) has switched on from the admin page, and they are delivered through the push service built into that device's browser (for example Apple or Google).
Luke can connect his own Google Calendar. When he does, the site reads only his free and busy times so it does not offer slots he is already booked for, and it creates, updates or deletes the calendar events for bookings made on this site (adding the client as a guest when they give an email, so Google sends them the invite). It also sees the email address of the Google account he connects, only to show which account is linked. It does not read the details of his other events, and it does not access anyone else's Google account. Luke can disconnect at any time from the admin page or from his Google account settings.
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
To improve the site, it keeps anonymous, cookie free visit counts: which page was opened, which booking steps were reached (for example picking a service or a time), a rough device type (phone or computer), the referring site (just its name, like instagram.com or google.com, never the full address) and any campaign tag in the link. Your browser keeps a random code for the day so one visit is not counted twice; it is not a cookie, it changes every day and it is never linked to your name, phone, email or booking details. No personal data is collected for this, your IP address is not stored, nothing is shared with advertisers or other analytics companies, and there is no tracking across other websites. These counts are deleted after 13 months.
Booking information is stored in a secure database hosted in the United States and is only accessible to Luke and the site administrator. Appointment records are kept as long as needed to run the business, and you can ask for yours to be deleted at any time.
